At Maxwell Locke & Ritter, our commitment to the communities we serve extends beyond our offices. As our firm continues to grow, we are intentional about building relationships and giving back in meaningful ways.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to support the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center (WCCAC) through a firmwide snack drive. Thanks to the generosity of our team, we collected and donated more than 100 boxes of snacks, helping ensure that children visiting the center have access to simple comforts during what can often be a difficult time.

Supporting Families in Williamson County

For many children and families, WCCAC provides a safe, supportive environment during moments of crisis. Having access to snacks may seem like a small detail, but it plays an important role in creating a welcoming and comforting space.

Our Round Rock office, along with colleagues across the firm, rallied around this effort to make a meaningful impact close to home and further our commitment to Williamson County.

“It’s been incredible to see our team come together to support an organization that does such important work for children and families in Williamson County,” said MaLea Sullivan, Tax Associate, and Board Member of the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center “These small acts of care help create a more welcoming environment for the kids they serve, and I’m proud to be part of a firm that shows up for our community in such a tangible way.”

“As a volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand the impact WCCAC has on children and families,” said Jenel Garoutte, Office Operations & Hospitality Specialist at Maxwell Locke & Ritter. “Even small things like snacks can make a big difference in helping kids feel more comfortable, and it was incredible to see our team rally around that need.”

Supporting organizations like the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center is one of the many ways our team stays connected to the communities we serve. At Maxwell Locke & Ritter, we believe strong communities are built through intentional support, and we are proud to play a part in that work.

About the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center

The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center serves children and families impacted by abuse, providing a coordinated, child-focused approach to investigation, healing, and justice.

Through a multidisciplinary model, WCCAC brings together law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and mental health providers in one place, helping reduce trauma for children and streamline the path to support and recovery.

Their work ensures that children have access to advocacy, forensic interviews, therapy services, and the resources they need to begin healing in a safe and supportive environment.
