It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Anita Motloch, retired Tax Partner. Anita was a proud graduate of the University of Texas who joined the firm in 1995 with the merger of Stephen R. Wood & Co., P.C. Anita was a highly respected tax advisor and trusted friend to her clients, her fellow Maxwell Locke & Ritter partners and associates, and her industry peers until her retirement in 2015.
Anita was dedicated to serving the Austin community, and through the years she served as a member of the Downtown Austin Alliance, Treasurer of Downtown Rotary Club of Austin, Board Member of St. Edward’s Charitable Giving, and Treasurer of Gracywoods Neighborhood Association. She also proudly served on the Tax Executive Committee of CPAmerica, Inc.
Best of all Anita was a very special person who had a calm demeanor, a kind heart, and a strong faith. She was a true partner and friend in life as well as business. Our love and prayers go out to her family.
