David Knippa, CPA – Audit Partner

David joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter in 2015 and has built more than 15 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to technology and venture capital clients. He holds both a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Over the years, David has developed a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges facing high-growth, innovation-driven companies. He is passionate about building strong client relationships and learning from the exceptional operators and management teams he works alongside.

Mayela Limas, CPA – Tax Partner

Mayela joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter in 2021, bringing experience serving high-net-worth individuals, trusts, family-limited partnerships, and closely held businesses. She holds both a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach, Mayela enjoys being a trusted advisor and helping clients navigate complex tax situations with clarity and confidence.
