Professional Experience

Becky grew up in Louisiana and moved to Austin in 2011. She studied Accounting at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) and has been a full-charge bookkeeper for small construction and engineering firms for the last 15 years. Since moving to Austin, her focus has been on the Solar Energy Industry and she has enjoyed being involved in all aspects of the business including operations management, purchasing, human resource and compliance, and of course, accounting.

Becky’s first experience with Maxwell Locke & Ritter was when they performed an internal audit for a local solar contractor where she worked as the Controller. “It was the friendliest audit I’d ever had, and I was very excited when a position in their family office department became available.”

In June of 2020, Becky virtually joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter. Becky enjoys being part of a team that broadens her experience in accounting, encourages community involvement, and provides opportunities for personal growth and well-being.
