Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

What We're About

Our DEI Mission

To foster, cultivate, and preserve a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Maxwell Locke & Ritter.

Our DEI Vision

To support Maxwell Locke & Ritter’s vision to be a great place to work by embracing our people’s differences in race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family or marital status, physical and mental ability, religion, age, and other characteristics that make our people unique.

How We Got Here

“Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team was born from a dream of increasing diversity at every level at Maxwell Locke & Ritter. I am blessed to have people in my life who have not only given me opportunities to prove myself, but also advocated for me throughout my journey. I want to be that advocate for our team members by empowering each person to thrive and reach their full potential.

Starting the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team provided space to prioritize fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture where our people have a sense of belonging, where we take actions based on equity over equality, and where we invite our people to the table and give them a voice to make our firm a better place to serve our clients and grow in our careers.”

Diana Garcia Mil, CPA   |  Audit Partner

“The work of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team is in direct alignment with our firm’s core values. Maxwell Locke & Ritter believes in creating an environment where people are motivated by empowerment and emphasizes treating everyone with honesty, dignity and respect. We have learned and grown from the DEI team’s trainings, events, and initiatives.”
