Internship Experience:

  • Engage in training on software programs and tax return procedures
  • Apply education and gain hands-on experience during the busiest part of the year for tax professionals
  • Prepare federal income tax returns and assist in various tax consulting projects
  • Collaborate with tax associates and tax partners
  • Participate in weekly service line production meetings
  • Connect with a dedicated mentor
  • Participate in monthly feedback meetings
  • Participate in regular social activities

Internship Perks Include: Onsite gym access at Frost Bank Tower, paid parking, firm socials, and complimentary snacks, refreshments and meals

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have taken Intermediate Accounting I and at least one taxation class
  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA, with a B or better in accounting courses
  • Strong accounting skills (including posting journal entries)
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work full-time during spring 2023 semester

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior public accounting or tax internship a plus
