Maxwell Locke & Ritter is committed to developing the professional and life skills of all members of the firm. We feel that training and development is a foundational part of our people's personal and professional success.
Professional Development at Maxwell Locke & Ritter is grounded in goal–setting and ties directly to our Strategic Plan. The goal–setting structure requires a minimum of three sessions per year and individuals are encouraged to schedule extra sessions at their discretion. We do not assign Advisors, rather each associate is responsible for analyzing their own goals and relationships to determine which Advisor best suits their personal needs and comfort level.
New–hires at Maxwell Locke & Ritter are currently expected to meet with advisors for a one–month, three–month, six–month and nine–month "check–up". Advisors are provided with a checklist of items to review with new–hires in order to be certain that the associate is transitioning well into the culture and business strategies of the firm. New–hires are assigned a Service Line Buddy to further assist with this transition.
