Sean
Holcomb, a native of central Texas, attended the University of Texas at Austin
where he concurrently received his Bachelor of Business Administration and
Master of Professional Accounting with a concentration in Taxation with high
honors in 1994. Upon graduation, Sean joined the Austin office of Coopers & Lybrand. During
his tenure at Coopers & Lybrand, Sean served clients in a wide range
of industries, including high-tech, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, financial
services and not-for-profit. Since joining Maxwell Locke & Ritter
in January 1997, Sean has used his knowledge and expertise to assist clients
in complying with the ever-changing income tax laws and in helping them plan
for the future.
As a partner in ML&R's tax practice, Sean focuses on closely-held
businesses, partnerships and their owners, providing them with a wide range
of tax planning and compliance services, including mergers and acquisitions,
corporate reorganizations, IRS examinations, and estate and income tax planning
engagements. Sean also oversees a majority of the tax services provided
to ML&R's nonprofit clients. Sean is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public
Accountants.
Away from the office, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, and
their two daughters, Sarah and Catherine. Sean lives in Round Rock,
where he is actively involved in his church and other activities.
