Kyle Parks

Kyle received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and then obtained a Masters of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech. He joined Ernst & Young’s Austin office in 1995, where he served as a tax and business advisory services coordinator for public and privately-held companies operating in various industries, including manufacturing, technology, and retail and consumer products. Some of his notable clients included Golfsmith, EZCorp, Durham Transportation, Thermon Manufacturing, Fired Up, and Temple-Inland.

Kyle joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter in 2004. Kyle specializes in corporate tax planning, merger and acquisition structuring, IRS and FASB Statement No. 109 compliance and reporting requirements, stock option and compensation arrangements, and other business issues. In addition, Kyle has extensive experience with representing and assisting clients before the IRS. His client list includes Builder Homesite, Inc., Capital Pumping, LP, IE Discovery, Inc., Harden/Trisun Healthcare, Flight Director, Inc., Tierra Energy, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza and Southwest Regional Cancer Center. Kyle also is responsible for the firm’s campus and experienced hire recruiting programs. He is a member of both the AICPA and TSCPA.

Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife Catherine, their kids Hannah and Andrew, and their two Labrador Retrievers, Earl and Molly.
