As a Registered Investment Advisor representative, a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner, Fred concentrates on the Firm’s wealth management practice. He assists clients in the preparation of investment strategies and portfolio management. Fred sees his role as his clients’ financial partner - someone who can view their financial situation with the discipline and perspective needed to help them realize their personal life goals.
Fred grew up in New Orleans and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. After college, he served for five years in the Navy as an A-6 Navy Bombardier/Navigator. Upon returning to civilian life, he attended graduate school at Old Dominion University at Norfolk, Virginia, where he received a Master of Science degree in Accounting. In 1995, Fred joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter.Fred’s client work is concentrated in the firm’s wealth management practice where Fred assists clients in the preparation of investment strategies and portfolio management. He says, “I see my relationship with clients as one of a financial partner, someone who can provide a disciplined and unique perspective to their financial situation, thus better enabling them to realize their personal life goals.” Fred has passed the National Association of Securities Dealers’ General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7) Exam; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) Exam. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Fred also places emphasis on his efforts in the area of tax research, planning and compliance for a wide variety of local area businesses and organizations.
