David has been in public accounting for over 10 years. Prior to joining Maxwell Locke & Ritter, he was a Senior Associate with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he focused on attestation services.
David attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with honors and his Masters in Professional Accounting.
Prior to his career in public accounting David earned an Associates degree in Irrigation Technology from Walla Walla Community College and owned and managed a landscape irrigation business. It was this drive for entrepreneurship coupled with his accounting experience that brought him to Maxwell Locke & Ritter, where he is now a partner and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
David spends most of his time in three areas: family, community and business. He has been able to merge these interests by helping to maintain a family-friendly workplace at Maxwell Locke & Ritter and working in the community to support various educational services programs. He is most proud of his partnership with his wife in raising their two sons. He works to provide an environment at home and in business where family, associates and clients can focus on what they are becoming and not just what they are doing.
