Dale Cox

Dale attended Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Masters of Science in Accounting. He joined Arthur Andersen’s Dallas office in 1988 and moved to Austin to join Price Waterhouse in 1996. Dale joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter in 2002. Dale was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he served as the tax site leader for the Austin office and was responsible for delivery of all tax services to multinational, publicly traded and privately-held companies.
Since joining Maxwell Locke & Ritter, Dale’s focus has been delivering tax compliance and tax planning services to public companies, venture-backed private companies and closely-held entities and their owners. Dale has consulted on numerous merger and acquisition transactions for businesses of all sizes. He has assisted several companies with cost segregation opportunities, Internal Revenue Service exams and equity compensation issues including stock options. Dale also works with companies on international and state and local tax issues. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Dale enjoys family activities with his wife Leigh and their children, Tyler, Allison, Amy and Angela. He enjoys coaching his children’s basketball and soccer teams. He is active in the community where he serves or has served on several boards and committees, including Any Baby Can, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, Austin Technology Council, Camp Summit, Junior Achievement, Boy Scouts of America, and the American Heart Association.
