Chris H. J. Adams, CPA – B.B.A., 1970, Partner

Chris is a native Austinite who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.  Before beginning his public accounting career, he held the position of Chief Accountant for St. Edward’s University, Woodward Manufacturing Company and The Texas State Commission for the Blind. 

Since becoming a CPA in 1982, Chris has developed a well-rounded client base with a particular concentration in Austin’s emerging film and entertainment industry.  He provides services to various closely-held entities and their owners, including filmmakers and film production companies.  As a tax partner, his focus is on tax planning, tax compliance and business consulting.   He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

Chris is actively involved in the community and serves as an officer on the board of the Austin Film Society as well as the Austin Music Foundation.  Chris and his wife Carol enjoy traveling, the arts, volunteering with non-profit organizations and spending time with their children, grandchildren and animals.
