Anita
Motloch is an Austin native and graduate of The University of Texas at Austin
with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980. After college,
Anita began her accounting career with the Austin Office of Main Hurdman
and continued there after Stephen R. Wood purchased the firm in 1982. In
1995, Anita joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter with the merger of Stephen
R. Wood & Co., P.C.
At ML&R, Anita provides estate and tax planning guidance to the firm’s
individual and business clients to assist them in retaining the most assets
while paying the least amount of tax. Anita is also involved in recruiting
new staff for the tax department and is the tax representative to the Support
Team.
“Friendly, but businesslike,” is Anita’s philosophy
when it comes to client relationships. Providing quality, timely work
is her key to maintaining long-term relationships with her clients.
Anita is thrilled with Maxwell Locke & Ritter’s continued growth
and hopes to use her technical tax knowledge to train and lead new members
of the firm’s tax practice. With her help, Maxwell Locke & Ritter
is able to extend quality tax related services to current and potential clients. “The
